The Herring Festival is held every spring and is the largest of its kind in Denmark. Every year in April, a herring festival is organised in Hvide Sande. When the herring come through from the sea and enter the fjord to spawn, a lot of herring can be caught and competitions are organised to see who can catch the most herring in the shortest time.

Get ready for a fantastic weekend where anglers from near and far come together to compete against each other.
